What you mean by Unlimited monthly bandwith?

You can send/download as many data per month as your server can handle. There is no limit on data.

Is there any warranty of the connectivity speed?

There are more servers connected to each switch (24 port switch) and this way it is impossible to guarantee the full speed for each server in every moment. We use shaping tools for more righteous division of the bandwidth. For customers who need speed warranty, we can make special offer with dedicated line.

What does it mean "shared connectivity"?

Total capacity of the uplink to each switch is divided among all servers on the switch. We use 24 port switch, it means, that our agregation ratio is 1:24 at most - total capacity of the uplink is divided among 24 servers at most.

Why may I need more IP addresses?

More IP addresses is needed when it is secured pages on the server. It is necessary to have one IP for each SSL certificate. More IP addresses You can use in other cases of course, more similar services on one server with another configuration etc.

Is the size of the server restricted?

Prices are for servers upto miditower or desktop size. It´s no problem to place larger server, after previous union.

What does it mean "VLAN"?

Virtual Lacal Area Network (VLAN) is transparent connection of two or more Local Area Network (LAN) on the second level of the network layer.

What should I do if I need operating system for my server?

We are able to ensure instalation and configuration of basic operating system (Debian, Ubuntu) within service Server Housing. Administration of the server we ensure within service Dedicated server and VPS Virtual Private Server.

Is possible enter to the data center?

Admission to server room allowed to authorized personnel only upon authorization of ID and assigned user name and password to COOLHOUSING client´s database. The IPv6 address segment is bound to the client, not the service. If you order any server housing program, you will receive your segment of IPv6 addresses. No additional IPv6 address segment will be provided if you order one or more additional housing programs.

Are dedicated servers provided with pre-installed OS?

Dedicated servers are not provided with OS. Like next service is possible order "Basic OS Debian/Ubuntu installation" for £ 33,-.

Is the DNS reversing entry important for me?

Yes, DNS (Domain Name System) reverse entry is important. A DNS server contains PTR records which translate the IP addresses based at the domain name. This is very important (not only) for mail services. The domain name can include whatever word, but the most often contains the name of the domain referred to the IP.

What means the term aggregating ratio?

By the aggregation ratio is identified the proportion of provided shared connectivity distribution. When is the second number (the denominator) higher, than the provided shared connectivity to one server is lower. This number sets how the connectivity will be distributed, among how many users.

Is the data backup service included in price?

No, data backup service is an optional service. It is charged due the data amount.

Are there any other payment options besides a wire transfer?
